Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device and remember certain information about your visit. Cookies can be "persistent" (stored until they expire or you delete them) or "session-based" (deleted when you close your browser).
Cookies We Use
Legal Basis
We set analytics cookies based on our legitimate interest in understanding how visitors use the Site, monitoring site performance, and diagnosing technical issues. These cookies are first-party, contain randomly generated identifiers, and are never used for advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking. You can disable these cookies at any time through your browser settings.
Analytics Cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Duration | Secure | SameSite |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| NEID | Device identifier. A randomly generated UUID used to understand how visitors interact with the Site over time and to associate browsing activity with visitor records in our customer management system. Does not contain personal information. | Persistent | 365 days | Yes (HTTPS only) | Lax |
| NESID | Session identifier. Tracks the current browsing session and campaign attribution (UTM parameters). Resets after 30 minutes of inactivity. | Session | 30 minutes | Yes (HTTPS only) | Lax |
These cookies power our self-hosted analytics system, which measures page views, site performance, and technical errors. We do not use Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or any third-party analytics service. Your analytics data is processed entirely on our own infrastructure and is never shared with third parties.
What these cookies do not do:
- They do not track you across other websites
- They do not build advertising profiles
- They do not contain your name, email, or any personal information
- They are not shared with any third party
Geolocation. We derive your approximate geographic location (country, state/region, and city) server-side from CloudFront headers at the time of your visit. This is not stored in a cookie. The raw IP address used for this lookup is not persisted in our analytics or customer management systems.
Browser Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser storage for the following purposes:
| Key | Purpose | Storage Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| navbar_animated | Tracks whether the navbar brand animation has played during your current visit, preventing it from replaying on each page navigation. | sessionStorage | Current browser session (cleared when you close your browser) |
| cookie_notice_dismissed | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice banner, preventing it from reappearing on future visits. | localStorage | Persistent (until you clear browser data) |
SessionStorage and localStorage data are not transmitted to our servers. They exist only in your browser. SessionStorage is cleared when you close the tab or browser window; localStorage persists until you clear your browser data.
Cookies We Do Not Use
To be clear about what we do not do:
- No third-party cookies. We do not allow any third-party service to set cookies on the Site.
- No advertising or marketing cookies. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising, retargeting, or behavioral profiling.
- No social media tracking cookies. We do not embed social media widgets that set tracking cookies.
- No cross-site tracking. Our cookies are first-party only and do not track your activity on other websites.
Third-Party Services
All resources on the Site are self-hosted, including:
- JavaScript libraries (Bootstrap, GSAP, Lenis)
- Web fonts (Satoshi font family)
- Images and media
No external requests are made to third-party CDNs, font services, or analytics providers when you visit the Site. This means no third party receives information about your visit through resource loading.
How to Manage Cookies
Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete individual cookies or all cookies
- Block cookies from specific websites
- Block all cookies (this may affect Site functionality)
Browser-Specific Instructions
- Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Other Site Data
- Firefox: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions > Manage and Delete Cookies
Impact of Disabling Cookies
If you disable cookies:
- Our analytics system will not be able to track your session, which means each page view may appear as a new visitor. This does not affect your browsing experience.
- The navbar animation state (sessionStorage) is separate from cookies and is not affected by cookie settings.
- The Site will continue to function normally for browsing and contact form submissions.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. Our analytics system does not currently respond to DNT signals, but we note that our data collection practices are already minimal and do not involve cross-site tracking or advertising profiles.
Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
