Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use our contact form, we collect the following information:
- Name (required)
- Company (required)
- Email address (required)
- Phone number (optional)
- Message content (required)
We only collect personal information that you voluntarily submit through our contact form.
If you call us by phone, standard call metadata (your phone number, call date and time, and call duration) may be recorded in our customer management system. This information is used to return your call, manage our business relationship, and maintain accurate contact records. We do not record phone calls without your knowledge.
Email Communications
If you opt in to receive email communications from us, we may use tracking technologies in those emails to understand engagement. When you open an email or click a link, the following information may be collected:
- Whether the email was opened
- Which links were clicked
- The date and time of the interaction
- Approximate geographic location (country and region), derived at the time of the interaction
This engagement data is linked to your contact record so we can send more relevant communications and avoid contacting people who are not interested. We do not store your IP address from email interactions. We do not share email engagement data with third parties.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time, and we will stop sending marketing communications within 10 business days of your request.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, our self-hosted analytics system automatically collects:
Device and Browser Information:
- Browser user agent string
- Viewport and screen dimensions
- Device pixel ratio and color depth
Session Information:
- A device identifier (randomly generated UUID, stored in the NEID cookie)
- A session identifier (randomly generated UUID, stored in the NESID cookie)
- Pages visited and page titles
- Referring URL
- UTM campaign parameters (if present in the URL)
Performance Data:
- Page load timing metrics (DNS, connection, response times)
- Core Web Vitals (Largest Contentful Paint, First Input Delay, Cumulative Layout Shift)
- Navigation type and redirect count
Error Data:
- JavaScript errors that occur during your visit, including error messages and file references
Geolocation Data:
- Approximate geographic location (country, state/region, and city), derived from your IP address via CloudFront at the time of your visit
Information We Do Not Collect
- We process IP addresses through CloudFront to determine your approximate geographic location (country, state/region, and city) but do not store raw IP addresses in our analytics or customer management systems. IP addresses may appear in server logs retained for 90 days (see Data Retention below).
- We do not use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics)
- We do not load third-party tracking scripts
- We do not use advertising cookies or retargeting pixels
- We do not collect financial or payment information through the Site
Server Logs. Our web server records standard access logs for security and operational purposes. These logs may include your IP address, the pages you requested, timestamps, and HTTP status codes. Server logs are retained for 90 days and are not linked to visitor profiles in our customer management system.
How We Use Your Information
Contact Form Submissions
We use information submitted through our contact form to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Evaluate potential business engagements
- Communicate with you about our services
Analytics Data
We use automatically collected data to:
- Understand how visitors use the Site

Self-Hosted Infrastructure
All data collected through the Site is processed and stored on our self-hosted infrastructure. We do not transmit your data to third-party analytics providers, advertising networks, or data brokers.
Security Measures
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including:
- HTTPS encryption on all connections
- Secure cookie attributes (Secure flag, SameSite=Lax)
- Access controls on our server infrastructure
Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected individuals in compliance with North Carolina law (NCGS 75-65) and any other applicable state notification requirements, without unreasonable delay.
Data Retention
- Contact form submissions: Retained for the duration of our business relationship or until you request deletion.
- Email engagement data: Retained for up to 2 years. Unsubscribed contacts are removed from future mailings, and their engagement history is deleted within 90 days of the unsubscribe request.
- Phone call metadata: Retained for the duration of our business relationship or until you request deletion.
- Analytics data: Device identifiers are retained for up to 365 days. Session data expires after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- Server logs: Retained for 90 days for security and operational purposes.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use a small number of first-party cookies to operate the Site. We do not use third-party cookies. For complete details, see our Cookie Policy.

We also use browser storage (sessionStorage and localStorage) to remember whether the navbar animation has played and whether you have dismissed the cookie notice banner. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your consent: If you ask us to share your information with a specific party.

Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Our analytics system does not currently respond to DNT signals. However, our data collection practices are already minimal and do not involve cross-site tracking or advertising profiles.

California Residents
If you are a California resident, California privacy laws (including the CCPA and CPRA) may provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information, including the right to know, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Collected personal information categories include identifiers (name, email address, phone number), internet or electronic network activity (pages visited, browser information, email open and click activity), geolocation data (approximate location derived from IP address at the time of interaction), and inferences drawn from the above (such as content interests based on email engagement). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. International Visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Site, you consent to this transfer and processing.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
Links to Other Sites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites (such as LinkedIn). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any personal information.
